Event Description:

Homeschool Educational Day at GFF Pumpkin Patch

9:30am, September 12, 2025

We always welcome homeschool families but is your family ready for an exclusive fun and educational experience with other homeschool families at our pumpkin patch?!

On this guided tour, your family will rotate through three stations and learn all about our farm! The Joehl boys will introduce you to the animals we have here at the farm: our Jersey dairy cows, Berkshire pigs, chickens and sheep. Then, Mrs. Joehl will teach your family about the life cycle of a pumpkin and lead your family in an activity to plant pumpkin seeds that you can take back to your home to watch grow. Finally, Mr. Joehl will take your family on a tour of the u-pick pumpkin patch where each student can pick a "field trip" sized pumpkin to take home.

The guided tour takes about an hour and afterwards you are welcome to enjoy the farm with your family for as long as you'd like.

Bring a sack lunch or enjoy lunch from our concession stand. (See add on options below to reserve our most popular menu items or pay for food on sight for full menu)
