Farm Ed-Venture Field Trip

~NEW~Plant a Seed: Each Student will learn how to plant and care for a seed which they will take home to watch grow.
Take a Ride: Students will take a ride on our tractor pulled trolley to the fields where they will learn about the life cycle of pumpkins and how honey bees play apart in the cycle.
NEW! Prospector Gem Mining ADD-ON option: $4 extra per person. Each child will receive a bag of mining rough to pan in our sluice and an ID card to take home to identify their treasures. Please allow an extra 30 minutes to your farm stay with this option.
SCHEDULE of EVENTS:
Schools will be split into groups of 30-35 people upon arrival. Groups will spend their first hour at the farm learning about plant life cycles, planting a seed, and taking a trolley ride around the farm.
After the first hour, you may spend the rest of your time doing the following at your own pace:
*Eating lunch at the picnic tables
*Visiting our farm animals
*Playing on the swing sets
*Playing on the tube slides
*Jumping on the Jumping Pillow (as our staffing allows)
*Prospector Gem Mining ADD-ON option.
All reservations are for a 2 hour time slot beginning at your selected start time. All groups must depart by 1:00pm.
Cost: $11 per student
$11 per parent/chaperone
For every 8 paid students you will get 1 teacher/school staff member in for free. All teachers and paid school staff must have their School Issued ID to get in free.
This tour is recommended for grades Preschool-6th Grade
Children: $11.00 per person
Teachers: $0.00 per person
Parent Chaperone: $11.00 per person
