HOME SCHOOL DAY
9:00am, October 13, 2025
Seward Farms offers an "Ag in the Classroom" field trip.
Our real, working farm provides the right setting for both children and adults to have a day of fun and adventure while learning about agriculture.
The Field Trip Includes:
Agriculture Presentation in our Building - Begins at 9:15 AM
Hay Ride
Yee Haw Slide
Cow Train Ride
Farm Animal Alley
Horsin' Around Obstacle Course
Playground Fun
To ensure you have time to enjoy all that we have to offer, each activity will be enjoyed one time per class/student.
Prices:
Students (ages 3 & up) and Chaperones: $12.00
Cancelations or Reschedules:
If you cancel a field trip, please contact the office ASAP at 228-641-3933, so we can take you off of our list and know not to expect you the day of. To reschedule a new time or day, please contact the office to do so as well.
Lunches:
Bring your own sack lunch or purchase your lunch at our Wagon Wheel Cafe.
We offer pre-ordered lunches for sale from our Wagon Wheel Café. A MINIMUM TWO-WEEK ADVANCE NOTICE is needed for all pre-orders. Please print off the lunch order from off of our field trips website page, or contact the office with your pre-order ready.
Each meal comes with chips and a drink.
Choose from these two:
LITTLE FARMER LUNCH: $7.00
Hot dog, chips, cookie and drink.
RANCH HAND SPECIAL: $7.00
BBQ pork sandwich, chips, cookie and drink.
Chip Options:
BBQ, Plain, Cheetos
Drink Options:
Coke, Root Beer, Diet Coke, Sprite, Water and Apple Juice
REMEMBER, we need two-week advance notice!
When Booking:
NUMBER OF STUDENTS: PLEASE USE STUDENT COUNT ONLY... we take into consideration that each student may have a chaperone, so we do not need that number.
Feed Cups:
Feed cups for Farm Animal Alley can be purchased at our Feed Booth set up beside Farm Animal Alley. Feed comes in Seward Farms souvenir cups for $5. The feed booth takes cash or cards.
Gift Shop:
Our gift shop will be open for every field trip. We offer items such as farm toys, Seward Farms clothing, Mud-Pie, books, purses, home goods, candy, jams and much, much more. Children’s items/toys range from $.50 - $40.
Payment:
Payment is due the day of the field trip. We accept school/organization checks, cash, credit card and purchase orders. Please send one designated person in to the gift shop to check in the school and pay. Please have the total head count of students and chaperones that are present for the field trip ready whenever you go into check in. Any difference in head count from the original invoice or booking, can be adjusted.
